Introduction

Nowadays you can find computers and smart boards in almost every modern school and university. More and more technology moves into the classrooms, even though this is done for beneficial reasons, there are still negative impacts on the students because some study methods cannot be replaced by technology.

However the technology that is provided today, gives the students and professors the easiest access to knowledge in many different ways for example E-Books that can be purchased online and read on an I-Pad or any other tabloid. There are many more strategies I will point out later in this blog.

Furthermore, there are people that dislike this kind of learning strategy, for example the older generation prefers calculating in their head instead of using a calculator because this is how they grew up, with no technology.
On the other hand, a calculator is a time savior; students get an accurate result and save time. But this is only one of many technical devices that are still harmless and not even counted in nowadays technology anymore.

It is important to look at the impacts of technology, which is the main purpose of this blog, the student life turns less social and less face-to-face communication is used. In addition, technology at universities and schools can be very distracting and used for other purposes rather than research or study purposes.
