Facebook in High School

Nowadays Facebook is also used in universities and high school as a help and advertising certain things and groups are made for class projects to make life easier for students. Instead of meeting in person and talk about the subject face-to-face, they just communicate in that ‘group’ online.
Facebook is a great internet plat form for exchanging information among students and teachers. However students abuse it too, by having the permission to have lap tops in at school or university, students start chatting online during class. This leads to a massive distraction and students basically waste their time.
As most of the teachers know that almost every student is a member of Facebook, a dramatic event occurred in a US high school:

In March 2013
School official accused of accessing students Facebook page.

Breaking news in Everett, Washington, at a North Middle School a young girl was asked by the principle assistant to log onto Facebook so that other accounts from other students can be looked at. Apparently this was done because of cyber bullying problems, which were currently happening at school.
However, the girl was devastated and so were her parents: “There was no right for anybody to come in and ask her to open her personal information to obtain any information about anybody else” claimed her mother.
In facet there was a cyber bullying issue going on and the school was looking for a picture that was posted on Facebook but this is still no reason of going through students private information and belongings.
According to the girls mother; “Our job is to give our children a good education and not to bring them in and scare them.”
What I would like to point out is that there is cyber bullying happening at many schools, pictures are taken with smart phones and uploaded on the World Wide Web. This has reached dramatic issues like these; professors, teachers, assistants interfere into students private lives.
